dive sites in anda
The underwater world of Anda stretches along a 14 km long coastal reef offering a variety of dive sites, from shallow coral gardens to walls and deeper reef environments.
At Anda Scuba Diving, we select the dive sites according to weather, sea conditions, certification level, experience and the marine life you would like to discover.
Most sites are located only a few minutes by boat from our dive center.
a diverse reef to explore
The reefs around Anda offer different underwater environments:
-
Shallow coral gardens
-
Reef plateaus
-
Coral walls and drop-offs
-
Drift diving
-
Macro habitats
-
Night diving sites
This variety allows us to adapt each dive to the conditions and to the diver.
Coral gardens and shallow reefs
The shallow sections of the reef are particularly interesting for beginners, underwater photographers and divers who enjoy taking their time to observe marine life.
These areas can be home to tropical reef fish, turtles, anemones, nudibranchs and many smaller reef creatures.
Wall diving in Anda
Several dive sites around Anda feature walls and drop-offs reaching greater depths.
These sites offer a different perspective of the reef, with large coral structures, schools of fish and opportunities for encounters with larger marine life.
The maximum depth of a dive always depends on the diver's certification, experience, the site and the conditions.
Drift diving
Some areas of the reef are suitable for gentle drift dives when conditions allow.
Instead of fighting the current, divers can allow the movement of the water to carry them along the reef while observing the underwater landscape and marine life.
Macro life
Look closely and Anda becomes a completely different world.
Nudibranchs, shrimp, crabs and other small reef creatures can be found among the corals. Our guides and marine-life spotters help divers slow down and notice what might otherwise be missed.
