Diving in Anda offers a different experience from the busier diving destinations of the Philippines.

The local reef stretches along the coast and offers a variety of underwater environments, including coral gardens, shallow reef areas, walls and drift dives.

Most of our dive sites are only around 5 to 10 minutes by boat from the dive center, allowing more time underwater and less time travelling.

DIVING CONDITIONS IN ANDA

Anda offers warm tropical water and diving opportunities throughout the year.

Sea and weather conditions vary with the seasons, so our team selects the most appropriate dive sites according to the conditions of the day.

At Anda Scuba Diving, we organize up to 4 dives per day: 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 5:30 PM, with a return to the dive center between each dive for surface intervals.

Each dive includes:

  1. Welcome at the center and equipment fitting

  2. Detailed briefing on the dive site, safety procedures, and marine life to observe

  3. Boat trip to dive sites located just 5 to 10 minutes away

  4. Guided dive or snorkeling activity

  5. Friendly debriefing upon return to the center

We prioritize small groups, streamlined organization, and a relaxed approach to ensure safety, comfort, and enjoyment underwater.

Our dives are suitable for certified divers, beginners, and snorkelers.

If you are travelling specifically for diving, we recommend allowing several days to discover different parts of the reef rather than trying to see everything in a single day.

The number of dives depends on your certification, experience, interests and travel schedule.

The dive sites at Anda, situated along a reef stretching over 14 kilometers, offer a wide variety of underwater landscapes. The majority of sites consist of spectacular walls and drop-offs, plunging to depths of up to 30 meters, with a shallow plateau between 6 and 10 meters, ideal for safety stops, extended explorations, and underwater photography.

These configurations allow for gentle, comfortable, and accessible drift dives, offering a gliding sensation along the reef while observing abundant marine life.

The richness of the fauna is remarkable. It is common to see green and hawksbill turtles, clownfish, angelfish, butterflyfish, groupers, and schools of reef fish, as well as a wide variety of nudibranchs, shrimp, crabs, and other macro creatures.

With a bit of luck, some dives can also offer exceptional encounters, such as with whale sharks, as well as rare and fascinating species like the pygmy seahorse or the blue-ringed octopus.
