our story
We are Delphine & Hubert, french couple, traveler lovers and having a real passion for scuba diving for many years, we decided to give up everything in November 2015 to visit the Philippines, and more particularly Bohol island. We then browsed many famous dive sites in the Philippines. We have been lucky enough to embark on a cruise ship for 3 months to explore the prestigious reef of Tubbataha.
Eager to find the perfect place to lay our suitcases, we then returned to Bohol and dived in Anda. And there, it was a crush! Won over by the authenticity of the place and the quality of the incredibly beautiful reef, we were then convinced of Anda's potential. Still unknown to divers and tourists, this village brings together in our mind all the elements to settle there: an incredible underwater marine life full of surprises, unspoilt beaches and a pleasant climate all the year.
It was in November 2018 that our beautiful project was born in the very charming Island View Beachfront Resort. Anda Scuba Diving Center, designed for the comfort of divers, and nestled between the mountain and turquoise sea in a tropical garden, is a unique place that we would call paradise!
OUR PASSIONATE TEAM
Hubert
Founder & Lead Instructor SSI
Originally from Normandy, Hubert is the founder of the Anda Scuba Diving center, which he created in 2018 in Anda, on the island of Bohol (Philippines).
An SSI instructor with over 10 years of experience , he has worked in several diving destinations around the world, including Thailand, the Maldives, Bahrain and the Philippines, as well as liveaboarding on the Tubbataha reefs.
Specializing in guiding beginners , Hubert is known for his calm, educational and reassuring approach, ideal for a first dive with complete confidence.
He speaks French and English and always takes the time to adapt to each diver's pace.
jason
dive master ssi & local guide
Originally from Anda, Jason knows the local reef's underwater world intimately, having explored it since childhood.
Certified as an SSI Dive Master in 2025, he guides both beginners and experienced divers with a patient, calm, and attentive approach.
An excellent marine life spotter, Jason passionately shares his knowledge of reef creatures during clear and accessible briefings and debriefings.
On a daily basis, he also manages equipment, tank refills, and the smooth running of the dive center. Versatile and hardworking, he ensures that every dive takes place in optimal conditions and with complete safety.

boat captain
A former fisherman from Anda, Thomas has been the boat's captain since the center's founding in 2018. He knows the sea, local conditions, and Anda's dive sites intimately, having explored them for many years.
A reliable and experienced captain, he is constantly vigilant regarding safety, organization, and the smooth running of the outings. Always ready to help, Thomas takes care of both divers and snorkelers, both on board and during dives.
Hardworking, organized, and physically fit, he manages the boat's logistics and ensures everyone's comfort, contributing to smooth and stress-free excursions.
