Seasons in Anda: weather and sea.

Anda is located on the island of Bohol, part of the Central Visayas, which has a fairly pleasant climate year-round. Being located in the center of the archipelago, Bohol is much less prone to typhoons.

Anda has the advantage of benefiting from a micro-climate where two periods are distinguished: the dry season and the windy season.

The dry season generally runs from March to June. It is the hottest time of year, with very little rain and often calm seas, making it ideal for divers of all levels.

The wind season , also called amihan , runs from November to February . The northeast trade winds bring steady breezes and sometimes a slightly rougher sea, but diving remains very pleasant with water temperatures always warm (27 and 30 degrees).

The rest of the year, from June to October, is more variable, with more or less marked episodes of rain. We are entering the transition of southwest winds called habagat , this increases the chances of strong winds which can cause waves. Conditions often remain favorable for diving.

The outside temperature remains fairly constant throughout the year between 25 and 30 degrees and the water temperature between 27 and 30 degrees.
